Brief Overview

Welcome to Special Chinese class! The purpose of this course is to learn some basic Chinese words and be able to use the words in daily communication. In this semester, there are fifteen topics including the vocabulary of time, space, eat, drink, clothing, living, transportation, area and so on. We will learn some Chinese songs, including the vocabulary we will learn in the classes. We will also watch some interesting videos which introduce Chinese culture, geography and humanities and so on. Chinese writing will be one part of our course.This class would be a good start for you to learn Chinese and non-Chinese parent would be with your child in the class.

Goals of the course

1. Learn Chinese songs, watch Chinese calligraphy and paintings, know Chinese instruments, enjoy Chinese festivals and so on to get know more about Chinese culture.

2. Learn the basic Chinese words and practice pronunciation to improve Chinese daily communication skill.

3. Read some basic Chinese words with learning the basic Chinese words.

4. Share videos introduce Chinese culture, geography and humanities and so on.

5. Help student transfer to next level Chinese course.

Rights, Responsibilities, Rules, Regulations, and Requirements

1. Welcome non-Chinese parent to join the class with your child.

2. In the class, parent and child will learn together, also will practice independently.

3. Parent please join the class activity with your child, have fun with us.

教学目标：

1、通过学习中文儿歌、观赏中国书画、认识中国乐器、了解中国节日……让学生了解

和喜爱中国文化;

2、通过学习基础的日常词汇，以及课堂的发音练习，提高中文日常口语会话能力；

3、通过对常用词汇的学习，能够辨识相关的汉字；

4、通过课堂拓展学习，了解中国文化、地理、人文知识；

5、提高基础中文的能力，为进入高一级的中文学习打基础。

课堂要求：

1、在本班教学中，非中文母语的家长也将参与到我们的课堂活动中，非常欢迎您的加入。

2、在课堂学习中，请保持学生与家长学习上的一定独立性，保证课堂的纪律，同时维护课堂教学的正常进行。

3、课堂活动时，请学生和家长都积极参与，共同完成课程的学习。

4、如有紧急需要，请及时向老师反映，以便老师提供相应的帮助。
