MFACS 2025 Mid-Autumn Celebration

金风送爽，枫林尽染，又是一年中秋到！童心艺术中文学校的师生们在欢乐与团圆的氛围中，共同庆祝这一充满温情的传统佳节。今年，童心中校不仅走进麦城社区传播中华文化，也在校园内与全体师生共享团圆的甜蜜时光。

With the golden autumn breeze and maple forests glow with color, the Mid-Autumn Festival comes once again! Teachers and students at Madison Fine Arts Chinese School (MFACS) came together to celebrate this heartwarming traditional holiday. This year, MFACS not only brought Chinese culture to the Madsion and Middleton community, but also shared joyful togetherness on our campus.

9月27日，童心艺术中文学校受邀参加了由麦城华人协会主办的中秋庆祝活动，成为现场一道亮丽的风景线。童心中校的展台前人头攒动，洋溢着欢声笑语，热烈而温馨的氛围吸引了众多家庭驻足流连。

On September 27th, MFACS was invited to participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration hosted by the Madison Area Chinese Community Organization (MACCO), becoming a vibrant highlight of the event. Our booth was filled with laughter and lively conversations, and the warm, cheerful atmosphere attracted many families to stop by and linger.

童心书画班的老师们现场挥毫泼墨，在一枚枚精美书签上即兴创作，为观众题写中文姓名、绘制水墨小画；并将这些独一无二的书画作品作为节日礼物赠予孩子们，令他们爱不释手。许多国际友人家长也在此过程中，亲身感受到中国书画艺术的独特魅力。与此同时，童心的助理老师们也在积极主持中文“猜灯谜”游戏。一条条妙趣横生的灯谜点燃了现场的欢乐气氛。

The MFACS Calligraphy and Painting teachers created spontaneous works of art on beautiful bookmarks, writing children’s Chinese names and painting delicate mini artworks on the spot. These one-of-a-kind calligraphy and painting pieces were given to the children as festive gifts, and quickly became their treasured keepsakes. Many international parents also had the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique beauty of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting. Meanwhile, MFACS assistant teachers enthusiastically hosted the Chinese “Lantern Riddle” activity, where clever and entertaining riddles sparked laughter and joy throughout the crowd.

在此次庆祝活动中，童心的老师们以真诚与才华生动展示了中华文化的魅力，进一步加深了与社区的互动和联结，也让更多家庭了解并认可童心中校的教育理念。当孩子们手捧写有自己中文名字的书签惊喜不已时，家长们由衷赞叹：“童心中校真是太棒了！老师们好专业！”这份文化交流带来的温暖，为中秋的月色增添了别样的圆满与感动。

During this celebration, MFACS teachers vividly showcased the beauty of Chinese culture with their sincerity and talent, further strengthening connections with the community and helping more families understand and appreciate the school’s educational philosophy. Children were overjoyed as they held the elegant bookmarks with their Chinese names, while parents expressed heartfelt appreciation: “MFACS is the best! The teachers are so professional!” This warm cultural exchange added a special touch of completeness to the Mid-Autumn moon.

10月5日正值中秋前夕，童心中校还为全体师生准备了中秋月饼和点心。放学后，孩子们都在学校前台领取到了可爱的节日小月饼。老师们同学们一起合影留念，欢笑声此起彼伏，记录下这份甜蜜与祝福。香甜的月饼、灿烂的笑脸、温馨的瞬间——这一切组成了童心中校专属的中秋记忆。

On October 5th, the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, MFACS prepared mooncakes and treats for all teachers and students. After class, children received adorable mini mooncakes at the school front desk. Teachers and students gathered for group photos, sharing laughter and capturing sweet memories. The delicious mooncakes, the joyful smiles, and the warm moments together created a truly special Mid-Autumn memory at MFACS.

又是一年圆满的中秋体验！童心艺术中文学校不仅让学生们在欢笑中感受到传统文化的魅力，也为社区带来了中文教育的温度与力量。愿一轮明月照亮学习的路途，也照进每一位童心学子的心田。

Another fulfilling Mid-Autumn celebration! MFACS not only allowed students to experience the beauty of traditional Chinese culture through laughter and joy, but also shared the warmth and spirit of Chinese education with the community. May the bright full moon continue to light our students’ path of learning and shine warmly in every MFACS child’s heart.
